Honoring our Veterans Part 2

August 30, 2008

So I woke up at 6am this morning, and off to work for 7am
Before I left for the day, I grabbed a pair of vinyl gloves, and a trash bag.
Then headed from North Hadley, to Holyoke.
I arrived at the Holyoke Korean War Veterans plaza around 340pm
and proceeded to clear up the front part of the monument.
it was 90 degrees and felt like 100% humidity.
So after about 30 minutes of clearing the brush, with quite a bit of trash under the brush.

I did the best i could after a very long day of work, and I hope the city will be able to clean up the rest of the plaza.

For those that do not know where the plaza is, its in between Holyoke City hall, and the City hall Annex on High St.

I always wanted to do some guerrilla gardening around town. I like the totality of your de-shrubbering.

Unfortunately Dog, Thats what it took, with all the trash and dead underbrush.

Actually there were very little roots directly in front of the monument so it was all overgrowth.

I originally just tried to prune it all back so you could make out the monument
